All of Opal's books should be read in order within their series. The Duskwalker Brides should be read in order (Books 1–8). The Duskwalker Beginnings prequel duology should be read AFTER completing the main series. The Pirate Duology must be read in order — Book 2 makes no sense without Book 1. Witch Bound and standalones can be read independently from other series.

Currently there are 8 Duskwalker books, as well as the Witch Owl's story in the Duskwalker Beginnings prequel duology. This number may increase over time.

As an Australian author, Opal uses British English variations (e.g., "smelt" vs. "smelled," "colour" vs. "color"). She also occasionally uses Australian slang.

Yes! Books 1–4 of the Duskwalker Brides series have already been published as audiobooks, and Book 5 is currently in production, as is Oops! I Summoned a Metamorphic Monster. Sea of Roses is available on Audible narrated by Madison Mitts and Theodore Zephyr via Podium Audio. For books with BIPOC characters, the female narrator will be changed to match representation.

Yes! Opal is actively attending conventions in the US and Australia in 2026, including ApollyCon, Monstererotica Con, Love on the Beach, and Sinners and Stardust.
